Xiaomi Redmi Pad SE Detailed Features:
Design
The Redmi Pad SE is made of a metal slab, but it’s a well-molded aluminum. It is made to feel nice in hand. Weight-wise – it’s what you’d expect from an 11-inch tablet. The glass front and side frame combine to produce a tiny ridge. To maintain a firm grip without impacting the touch-sensitive region when using it, the bezels may be somewhat thicker than thin.
The bottom of the tablet features a USB-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and two openings for the loudspeakers. The top has another set of grilles for the speakers and the power button in the corner. On the right side of the frame, you will find the volume rocker near the power button. The design of the Redmi Pad SE can only be described as excellent.
Display
The Xiaomi Redmi Pad SE sports an 11-inch IPS LCD panel with a standard 1200 x 1920px resolution and supports a 90Hz refresh rate. The LCD panel is pretty decent. The colors look nice, the contrast is good and it’s bright enough under sunlight. The contrast is high – 1:1595, so the black looks pretty deep. Color accuracy in the default color mode is quite respectable. The average dE2000 is 3.3. And the whites look quite natural too.
Performance
Redmi Pad SE delivers a commendable performance, striking a balance between productivity and entertainment. Its octa-core Snapdragon 680 processor ensures smooth multitasking, whether you’re browsing the web, streaming videos, or working on documents. The 11-inch IPS LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate provides vibrant colors and fluid animations, making it great for gaming and media consumption. Additionally, the generous 8000mAh battery keeps you powered throughout the day. While it’s not a flagship tablet, the Redmi Pad SE offers solid performance at an affordable price point.
Battery
The Pad SE runs on a big 8,000 mAh battery, and as expected, its efficient chipset does a pretty good job at preserving battery life. The tablet seems to outperform the more expensive Xiaomi Pad 6 and the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro in pretty much all tests. The tablet ships with a 10W charger in the box and as you would expect, it charges extremely slowly. It takes almost 4 hours to a full charge and you get only 15% of the charge back in the first 30 minutes of the charging cycle. However, the tablet itself supports up to 18W fast charging as long as you pair it with a compatible Quick Charge 3.0 charger.
