Design.

The company noted that the Poco F4 is the most plain-looking Poco phone since the Poco F1. The design scheme is modern, but restrained. The choice of colors is muted. The branding, too, is minimal. It’s a detour from Poco’s recent launches, most of which have been loud and whimsical, eyeing a dedicated fan base.

Like its previous sibling, the POCO F4 GT, Xiaomi Poco F4’s screen is essentially a new and improved version of the POCO F3 5G 256GB and POCO F3 5G 128GB. Xiaomi Poco F4 has three main cameras, a 64 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2 MP macro camera. The Poco F4 relies on the 64MP 1/2″ OmniVision OV64B sensor with a Quad-Bayer filter. The sensor has 0.7µm pixels, and after the 4-in-1 binning, you’d be getting a 16MP photo with 1.4µm equivalent performance. Xiaomi’s cooling technology does a good job here, keeping the system from getting too warm.

Xiaomi POCO F4 comes with a 4500mAh massive battery similar to that of Nothing Phone 1, with 67W fast charging with the bundled charger taking about 46 minutes to top it up from 0-100% — not the fastest in this segment, but still very fast. Some of the latest phones with a fast charging include the Infinix Note 12 VIP which serves a 120W, 100% in 17 min. Tecno Pop 6 is more affordable and offers a battery of 5000 mAh.
