Vivo V40: Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Superb camera arrangement: The 50MP front-facing camera and the triple back camera setup with a ZEISS lens provide superb still and motion images.
- Sleek design: The phone feels good in the hand and has a fashionable, high-end look.
- Brighter Display: Vibrant and with exceptional viewing angles, the 6.55-inch AMOLED display is bright.
- Long battery life: For daily use, the 4000mAh battery offers a respectable amount of energy life.
- Better performance: The Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 has a 15% improvement in CPU performance and a 50% increase in GPU power over its predecessor. Better gaming experiences, quicker app launches, and seamless multitasking are the results of this.
Cons:
- Bloatware: Pre-installed Vivo apps and bloatware on the phone can eat up storage space and cause the device to lag.
- Limited software updates: Vivo may not provide long-term software updates for the V40, which could limit its lifespan.
- Not as powerful as flagship chipsets: Although the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 provides notable gains in performance over earlier mid-range models, its raw power is still not as high as that of flagship chipsets such as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
- Higher price point: Compared to devices with outdated or underpowered chipsets, those sporting the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 like the Vivo V40 are probably going to cost more.
