Design.

The phone looks and feels much better than its juniors. The phone features dimensions of 162.9 x 76 x 9 mm (6.41 x 2.99 x 0.35 in) and heavier weight of 207.5g. The displayed is flat as that of the Xiaomi 12T, the body is made of a glass front, glass back and an aluminum frame.

 

Features.

The Note 12 Discovery Edition doesn’t skip on features. It uses a 6.7-inch 1080p OLED display with support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+, a 200MP main camera (Samsung HPX sensor), an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 16MP front camera. Inside the Android 12 handset, you’ll find a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage.

 

Battery

Redmi equipped the Discovery Edition with a 210W HyperCharge feature, which relies on three 100W fast-charging chips to maximize the charging speed. The chips are distributed in a “winged layout” so as to avoid heat problems, and the 4,300mAh battery uses a new structural design and materials. Redmi says its charger uses a GaN design and is combined with a 10.5A ultra-low impedance cable to achieve an increased current capacity of 75% compared to a 120W/6A cable. The battery is good but to as reliable as those of Redmi Note 11 and Note 11 Pro.
