Infinix Zero 5G (2023) Detailed Description:
Design.
Despite not being particularly inventive, Infinix Zero 5G nevertheless manages to draw attention. That is especially clear from its appearance, which, despite the use of more inexpensive materials, resembles a high-end phone. Although the back of the phone does have a little bulge where the rear camera is located, Infinix did a fantastic job at blending it in. It is still simple to use the phone face-up on a table because it doesn’t protrude as some other phones do.
There are three important design elements on the Zero 5G’s sides, despite the fact that they are also plastic. The power button, which also functions as a physical fingerprint scanner, is maybe the most important. It’s quick, quick to set up, and really reliable. This phone is huge, as shown by the display size. It’s quite tough to use one-handedly, and at 201g, it’s not exactly lightweight. This isn’t a huge surprise, though, given the competition on the big screen.
Display.
The Zero 5G has an IPS LCD display. Although this is now pretty standard for Android phones, it is nonetheless amazing given the phone’s low initial cost. It’s quite pleasurable to surf through social media and watch movies since everything is clear and vivid.
- Impressive 6.78-Inch IPS LCD screen
- 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling
- Decent single speaker, plus a 3.5mm headphone jack
Camera.
A meager 2Mp macro has replaced the 13Mp telephoto lens on the main sensor, which is now 50Mp rather than 48Mp from the Zero 5G 2022. Although there is still a third 2Mp depth camera, you will mostly use this one sensor. The Camera brings you clear photos whether you are shooting landscapes, buildings or portraits.
When taking landscapes or portraits, it automatically generates deeper colors with the aid of Auto Scene Detection, giving a bluer sky and more colorful flora. You are also able to capture different types of night photos in the same environment with various night filters included. The 16Mp selfie camera on the front is also excellent, however, you should disable the beautiful setting as it is on by default.
Performance.
Infinix Zero 5G 2023 performs far better than you’d expect from a budget phone. It is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 1080 chipset. It’s a step down from the flagship Dimensity 9000 Series but still designed for use in mid-range phones. Alongside 8GB of RAM on the only configuration available, performance is much better than you’d expect from a budget handset.
You could experience some lag while switching between applications, and using the menu isn’t always the fastest. However, rather than being caused by poor performance, it appears to be software-related.
Battery Life.
The Infinix Zero 5G 2023 is equipped with a 5000mAh battery. Although we’ve grown to anticipate it from recent phones, it’s still a respectable capacity. It appears to hold up well according to some tests, with a battery test by PCMark lasting an above-average 10 hours and 48 minutes. When you do run out of power, the packaging contains a 33W USB-C adaptor. Despite being lower than many current rivals, this is still regarded as fast charging. Other phones with a similar battery capacity include the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy S22 Ultra, and the Infinix Note 12 Pro 5G.
Available Colors.
- Pearly White
- Coral Orange
- Submarine Black
