Samsung Galaxy A15 Detailed Description:

Design

The Galaxy A15 5G design comes with flat panels. The front is all flat, as usual, covered by protective glass. The frame and back is plastic which feels cheap but looks classic. Holding the A15 is more comfortable compared to its predecessor with its fingerprint placed on the right. The display features a U-shaped notch for the 13MP selfie camera and comparatively small bezels.

It is not protected but you will get a protector from our shop. The Galaxy A15 5G Galaxy features a fairly updated frame design. Although it is likewise flat, the area around the lock and volume keys has some peculiar sculpting. The audio jack, USB-port, finger print sensor, power/lock key and a microSD card slot are placed around the frame. The phone is available in three colors Black, Blue, and Yellow.

Performance

One of this phone’s main features is its 5G x Octa-core Processor, the Mediatek Dimensity 6100+ (6 nm), which is also similar in many features to Helio G99 chipset inside the Galaxy A15 4G, but with a 5G modem. On Antutu Test, this chipset put the Galaxy A15 5G at the bottom when compared to many budget phones. It is not far behind the competition though, but it did score lower for some reason.

With impressive processing power, spacious memory and storage options and 5G speed, the A15 can take on most of the daily online activities and manage games like the Bus Simulator.

Camera

Photos:

The camera of the A15 as you would expect within this budget is average, but the camera app is similar to the rest of the A series. The main camera saves good photos in 12.5MP default resolution. There is enough resolved detail, no visible noise, and wide dynamic range. You also have an option to edit from the camera app. The images have been oversharpened a little, and occasionally this is concealed by smoothing, which is rather obvious. The main camera also saves mostly poor photos at nighttime. The resolved detail is low, there is a lot of smeared noise, and the dynamic range is narrow.

Videos:

With its primary, ultrawide, and selfie cameras, the A15 can record videos in 1080p@30 frames per second. Unlike the Galaxy A14 and the A15 4G, the primary and ultrawide cameras offer electronic stabilization. With a 1080p resolution, the video bitrate of 17Mbps is quite generous. Stereo audio is recorded at a bitrate of 256 Kbps, and all videos have high-quality sound.

Display

The display measures a 6.5-inch and features Super AMOLED screen, an upgrade over the LCD panel on the Galaxy A14. This new display has extended 1080p resolution and supports up to 90Hz refresh rate for improved smoothness. At the far right of the brightness scrubber, the screen delivers a maximum brightness of 363 nits, which is neither extremely bright nor too dim. Up to 786 nits is a considerable brightness increase provided by the Auto feature.

Battery

The Galaxy A15 5G is powered by a large battery with 5,000mAh capacity and employs an energy-efficient chipset. This battery capacity will easily afford you  27 hours of calling, 11 hours of internet use, and 12 hours of gaming.

Charging speed

The phone supports up to 25W fast wired charging. It ships without a charger, as usual but you get the capble. Any 25W PD+PPS charger will work as long as it reaches the phone’s maximum charging capacity.
